ClientTracker Desktop version 5.0 Is Available Immediately!

Thank you to everyone who pre-purchased the ClientTracker 5.0 upgrade.  It was a longer process than we anticipated to release this version.  Not because of our programming (although we couldn't resist adding a few more nice features towards the end).  One reason for the delay was that BOTH Microsoft (Windows 8.1) and Apple (Mac OSX Mavericks) came out with new computer updates during the process, so we were really busy!

Now that the desktop AND cloud are both available in 5.0, we'd like to summarize some of the new features, and provide a rough timeline of future updates.  Remember, with your ClientTracker 5.0 subscription, all upgrades and standard support are included, and we have a lot of new things planned for 2014!  The "read more" links lead to our online manual, a terrific resource that is constantly being updated with new information.

  • Even if you don't bill insurance and don't need the new 1500 form or ICD-10 codes, this new version is packed with features to make your practice more EHR compliant and efficient!

Copy from Previous SOAP - This has been improved so it copies on the day of the visit; not when you make the appointment (which might be weeks in advance).  Read more >>

Why Should You Upgrade?


Most importantly, if you are using any Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, you should always be in the most current version to provide the best protection for the privacy of your patients' information.  Not upgrading means you are not protecting your patients' data as well as you could.

This is just one beneficial reason why we have changed to a subscription service: so you will always have the most current version.  The average cost for this is about a dollar a day.  Most people spend more than that on coffee!

Another reason to upgrade is to get all the new features, and our excellent email and phone support to assist you in making your practice more efficient by learning how to use ClientTracker properly.  There is a lot ot learn, and you don't need to waste time looking for answers when we can point you to them directly!  All of this is designed so you'll have more time to spend with your patients.

Ultimately, if you take insurance, provide superbills, or otherwise want to share your SOAP notes and diagnosis information with other healthcare professionals, you will need to convert to using the new 1500 claim form and ICD-10 diagnosis codes next year.  Upgrade now to avoid disruption in the services you provide for your patients!

ClientTracker 5.0 Update - New 1500 Form is Coming!

Thank you for checking our news blog about ClientTracker 5.0, the comprehensive new upgrade.  We have been challenged by development of our new online scheduler, and the time-critical development of the new 1500 form.  We are meeting those challenges, but it has taken more time than anticipated.
  • The 5.0 that is available now has lots of new features, and is available several ways:

    NEW PURCHASES get 5.0 immediately as a blank file (either desktop or cloud version)

    UPGRADES can get 5.0 by uploading your file for overnight conversion (by appointment)

    UPDATE 12-18: The 5.0 upgrade is now fully available as a do-it-yourself upgrade that is easy to download and run

    CLOUD CUSTOMERS already have 5.0, and will get timely updates regularly

    The most current version of ClientTracker is always included with your 5.0 subscription!
  •  GOOD NEWS: Already we have version 5.1 right on the heels of 5.0, which includes the new 1500 Form and the ability to use either the existing 08-05 version of the claim form or the new 02-12 version.  Most existing ClientTracker customers want to upgrade to get the new form.
  • The new 02-012 claim form will be REQUIRED on April 1, 2014.  Starting January 6, you can use either form to bill insurance.  ClientTracker is one of the few software programs that is ready for this major change ahead of schedule!  We will be making this new version available all throughout January so you'll have plenty of time to get used to it.
There are a lot of changes coming, and we're doing our best to coordinate them all in a way that is least disruptive to your practice work flow!  Check this blog for news and announcements.
